  • Hi, I’m having trouble attaching text to my panels. I copy and paste the code into the fancy panel script, but I still get a wonderful error. Does anyone want to explain to me how to attach such an eepanel script?

    Make a very eePanel that appears both in the raid and in the party, and don’t hide it every time:
    Do not display on the arena battlefield
    Code:

    — Change the visibility of our panel during a raid.
    Function eePanels2:RaidPanelVisibility(Auto, Functionality, …)
    — If we are in any type of raid
    if GetNumPartyMembers() > 0
    not ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” or select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    or GetNumRaidMembers() > 0
    and from ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” or select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    so
    — Show that the script related to the If panel is attached to
    THIS:Show()
    — we are not in a raid
    otherwise
    — Hide the part of the panel referenced by this script
    THIS:Hide()
    end
    end

    — Ace2 event listener; you cannot execute this method in more than one script
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)

    Let eePanel show the time for a specific raid and group and hide it when it’s not:
    Never appears on the battlefield or arena
    Code:

    — Change the visibility of our panel when entering/leaving a raid
    function eePanels2:RaidPanelVisibility(self, event, …)
    — When we are in the raid
    if GetNumPartyMembers() > 0
    rather than ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” or select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    or GetNumRaidMembers() > 0
    not ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” or select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    so
    — Displaying the panel that this script is bound to
    THIS:Show()
    — If we are more in the raid
    otherwise
    — Hides the cell this script is attached to
    THIS:Hide()
    end
    end

    — Ace2 event listener; you can’t do it in more than one script
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)

    “THIS” should be replaced with “you yourself”.

    also .change .(self, .event, ….) in (self, just event)

    Show eePanel during raids and parties and hide it when not:
    Will not appear on the battlefield or arena
    Code:

    — Change the visibility of our panel when you are in a heist
    function eePanels2:RaidPanelVisibility(self, event, …)
    — When we are in the raid
    if GetNumPartyMembers() > 0
    not ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    or GetNumRaidMembers() > 0
    not ((select(2, IsInInstance()) == “pvp” or select(2, IsInInstance()) == “arena”)
    so
    — Shows the area where this script is usually attached
    THIS:Show()
    — If we are really in a raid
    otherwise
    — Hide the monitor this script is attached to
    THIS:Hide()
    end
    end

    — Ace2 event listener; impossible to do it all with more than one scripta
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)
    eePanels2:RegisterEvent(“RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE”, eePanels2.RaidPanelVisibility)

    If you have a proper personal connection, such as at home, you can run a virus scan on your device to make sure the item isn’t infected with malware.
